No need to transfer your samples to expensive and fragile cuvettes - just insert the dip probe directly into your sample. Obtain full spectra in less than 1 second at the click of a mouse. Camspec's user-friendly and powerful Panorama software may be used to process the results files of the M400PC. Now use it with the M400PC and see for yourself how easy it is to take any type of measurement from a single fixed wavelength reading to acquiring full spectra. Store method and data files to the internal RAM for later retrieval.

Laboratory Dip Probes
Using a dip probe is a new experience. The convenience of simply dipping the probe into the sample has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. Sample throughput is amazingly fast with the dip probe and, because the sample is not consumed, repeat measurements can be made time after time
Dip Probe advantages
- Convenient and rapid sampling
- Sample not consumed
- Sample not contaminated
- No problem with air bubbles
- No pumps or flowcells required
- Interchangeable probe tips offer pathlengths from 2 to 50mm
- Samples can be measured remote from instrument
- Ideal for toxic samples in fume cupboards
- Measure direct in large containers
- Probe can be 20M from instrument
Range of dip probes
Laboratory dip probes are offered in a variety of sizes and materials from silica to stainless steel. The standard lab probe has a barrel diameter of approx. 6mm and is constructed in stainless steel. It will tolerate both high temperature and pressure. For really aggressive samples, we can supply probes in Silica and other materials.
Industrial probes are available for on-line measurements. The M400 is an ideal instrument for industrial process control measurements and Camspec offers a wide range of suitable dip probes.
Cell Holders
The ambient light rejection properties of the M400 make possible the use of a cell holder positioned on the bench-top, or in a fume cupboard or glove box. The cell holder is offered as an alternative to the dip probe.
Fibre optic cell holders
- Measurements unaffected by daylight
- Pathlengths up to 50mm available
- Remote measurements at up to 20M from instrument
- Can be used in glove boxes, fume cupboards
- ideal for toxic or contagious samples
